Thanks to all the artists that contributed – friends and supporters of Jakarta or Bust all – for donating such an exciting range of work. And thanks to Static Medium for beautiful prints, helping with shipping, and for all the advice.

It took a while  getting everything together for our fundraising charity art auction. It's easy to undereastimate how difficult it is to try to create something larger than self, but it feels so good when the pieces come together. The auction has been live for less than a few hours and it's already exceeding our expectations. I can't say how happy that makes me, nor how thankful.

Throughout the week I'll be posting updates on the auction, as well as more detailed photos of the work (eBay over-compresses the images and makes them seem blurry; doesn't do them justice). If you want a peak at some, Audrey Kawasaki (who not only contributed original drawings, but photographed most of the work for us; bless her) wrote a fantasticly detailed post on her new blog while I was struggling with eBay's maze-like store mananger.

Note: It's a 7 day long auction, so all the pieces will be ending sometime next Sunday (meaning Sunday in Pacific Standard Timezone, for you International Date Liners).

Update: Fixing links and clarifying some things.
